On a very hot day, thousands of people turned out on the Common at Lindfield Village Day. To ensure that our contribution to the local list of worthy charities did not go unnoticed we manned our stall and dealt with numerous enquiries e.g. "what is the u3a", "what subjects do you offer", "how can I join" and many more. Amanda, Royston, Mike and Philip survived the heat and ,we hope, were able to answer our prospective new members.
