Last Thursday (12 Feb) a "Group Leader Appreciation" lunch was laid on at Haywards Heath Golf Club. This was to thank leaders and convenors for the essential work they put in that keeps our HH u3a vibrant and engaging. An excellent buffet lunch was provided and was followed by an amusing and knowledgeable talk by Kevin Newman on the subject of "Scrumptious Sussex". About 70 people attended and, judging by the feedback, was enjoyed by all.
